I would really like to take advantage of the LightScribe feature that some burners offer, which use the DVD’s laser to burn an image directly onto the back of the DVD just burned. This sounds very nifty, and since the prices are only around $40 or so, I will try to get whatever I can find a good offer on.

Funny thing about prices and new technology…

It is too early for BlueRay burners, as they cost around $1000 at the moment, however we have very cheap and high quality DVD burners available.

I wrote that 3 months ago. You can find blueray burners for $300 now and soon they will be a must-have accessory, when they hit $100. If you are thinking of getting something for your archiving computer, its worth waiting for one of these babies.
